Searching for vaulted,discontinued perfumes has always been an important part of my fragrance journey.
It’s a blast from the past,especially because of all the restrictions on classic materials ,which cannot be used anymore.
Thus,many iconic perfumes have been completely changed and some literally ,destroyed.
What if we could bring some of this beauty back to life?
Would that be great??
That’s what I am about to try with the release of my second,and unfortunately very limited,perfume release.
I was lucky enough to get an old tin can full of a Chypre Base from Givaudan.
This Base (dating back to the late 70’s-early 80’s) is in excellent condition,in pure concentrate form.

Unfortunately,the Chypre Base is enough just for 40 bottles.
And guess what-it contains all the good (and now banned)stuff like Oakmoss.
Taking the Base as a starting point ,I created a perfume with the classic Chypre structure ,added some really special materials like Pure Santalol,Labdanum Absolute and some special Musk mix.
The result is a dark,alluring,narcotic,androgynous Chypre.
This is Chypre Inferno.
Extremely limited release ,only 40 hand numbered 50 ml bottles are available.
**This is a handmade perfume,which may contain high levels of natural extracts,absolutes and essential oils.
Be careful when spaying on clothes,it might stain your clothing
